Late walk, later dinner, life is good. Bought groceries yesterday and restocked my spices. OMG, cardamom does smell like cardamom. I'll try to never go that long without refreshing again.
Cardamom latte this morning. So good. Paella tonight. Might skip lunch. We'll see.

I have some really old spices in the cupboard. When I had to use vanilla for a cake last week I looked for a date on the 2 bottles I found.couldn't read anything so used what I found. It's hard when you don't cook much. Mostly I use garlic salt.

Vanilla has high alcohol content, so it’s fine. I’d expect it held up just fine. You could bake me a cake and I’ll test it for you. 🤣
