In person meetings today, followed by a lunch out. Should be both interesting and fun. Puppy class last night, I need to remember that not everyone is cut out to succeed with their dog, no matter how hard you try and help them. might write more about this later, but it's a busy day ahead of me. I'm frustrated on that front.
more weird numbers. I'm drinking tons of water, but it's not sticking around until the next morning. By that, I counted yesterday, not including ice added to my cup, I drank five 20oz bottles yesterday. no real walk other than in class and walking around beforehand.

Yup, I had one dog that was a work dog (more intelligent than a lot of people I've met), just loved learning new stuff. And one that was just happy go lucky, dumbest dog on the planet. I used to take both of them to these training camps and the trainers would be so confused. Sometimes it is what it is. I hear you. And thanks for the advice about the Fitbit. I'm going to give it a couple of days and try again. 😊

there's a woman in class literally ruining her dog. the woman is there to socialize, she doesn't practice with her dog between classes and she thinks that 1/2 hour every couple of weeks will result in a perfect dog. it's so frustrating. her dog is starting to get leash aggressive at this point and it's really frustrating watching it happen.

which one is it exactly? mine will call 911 for me if I fall and don't respond. that's why we got one for my mom as well. she's gotten quite good at using it as a phone. and we did have it used as an emergency device a few months ago when she hurt her neck and couldn't get up on her own. I ended up having a couple really big guys I know help me get her up and into a chair. so there are definitely benefits. one of the primary reasons I wear it is for emergencies when I'm outside at night.

Katsolo, This is Fitbit Versa 2 and it doesn't have the 911 calling/voice function. I wanted that function for safety when I'm out at night too or if I ever get running again and need help if something goes wrong again. What one does you and your mom have?

We both have Apple Watch 5 with cellular. I buy them off Woot as refurbished. Amazon owns Woot, so it’s safe. Series 5 up have have the fall protection/call 911 feature.

I have not done it myself, but with the newer Apple Watches, you can have a family member set them up for you using their iPhone.
Away from Apple, I think Samsung and Garmin have cellular capability. I haven’t played with Android devices in quite awhile, so you’ll need to research. I do like Samsung devices, they make good stuff. And Garmin is about as tough as you get.
